On Thursday morning the RSS seniors stroled down to Skoglund park to do there cross country.
First we lined up outside then vanessa said, “R6 go sit down by the seniors.” Then vanessa took a picture of us. Once we were ready we started to marching down to Skoglund park.
We went through Tyndall street entrance and we came in Tremaine ave. Once we were by celtex my legs started to wobble but I just ignored it. We came down Thames street and into Skoglund park.
We sat down in our year groups and it went from year six down to year three. I was cheering on all my friends while I was eating some of my lunch. Once it was the year fours tern I was really nervous. Troy did some warm ups with the year fours we flicked our legs and wiggled our bodies.
Ebony said, “Get on the line were nearly ready to start.’’ Three two one go said Ebony me and eli were tied so far. Once we came into the pits eli stopped but I still ran. I was running out of energy so I started to jog.
Once I came up to the stairs I was broken but I just went through the pain while people were cheering for me. I started to run faster to get a big lead. Once i got a big lead I was coming first so I started to jog again.
Once I came up to the finish line my heart was pounding but I was exited because I came first. Sonita said, “ Go and take this block to keri.’’ My mum and dad were so proud of me after that I cheered on the rest of my friends and then it started to rain.
So we took a bus ride back to school. I sat with Sam and Flecther Sam said, “Do you want to play hand games.” so we played hand games the rest of the bus ride back to school.
I loved this years cross country because I came first. I wonder what I am going to come next year.
